Stavridis

Admiral James Stavridis (Ret.) is a retired four-star U.S. Navy Admiral who served 37 years before rising to serve as the 16th Supreme Allied Commander at NATO, overseeing operations in Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, and the Balkans. Following his military career, he served as Dean of The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and currently serves as Partner and Vice Chair of The Carlyle Group, as well as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Rockefeller Foundation. He holds a PhD from Tufts and is the author of numerous books on leadership and global security.
