Terry Vaughan is a Principal and Managing Consultant at Prime Quadrant. He has over 30 years of experience in investment counselling, portfolio management, equity research, project finance, and engineering.

Before joining Prime Quadrant, Terry was an Investment Counselor at WaterStreet Family Offices. He started his investment management career at Toron Capital Markets (now part of the Cidel Group), where he was a Partner and Head of Equity Research. He then co-headed the investment team and headed portfolio management for UBS’ wealth management business in Canada (UBS Investment Management Canada Inc.).

Terry is a member of CFA Institute and CFA Society Toronto, where he has been an active volunteer, most recently as Chair of the Society’s Private Client Committee. He has also taught candidates preparing to write their Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams.

Terry has a degree in engineering from McMaster University, an MBA from the University of Toronto, and is a CFA charter holder. He serves on The Atmospheric Fund (TAF) Investment Committee and is past Chair of the Board of Directors of kids.now.
