Deborah Lee Chang is a Senior Consultant at Prime Quadrant. She is a seasoned investment professional with over 25 years of experience managing investments for both institutional and private clients.
Prior to joining Prime Quadrant, Deborah was Lead Portfolio Manager in Institutional (Mutual and Pension) funds and strategies following a Value mandate at TD Asset Management. Deborah started her career in Equity Research at Jones Heward Investment Management (now part of the Bank of Montreal) before becoming Portfolio Manager, Canadian Equities.
Deborah has a long-standing relationship with CFA Society Toronto having served as its President (Chair) of its Board of Directors as well as Chair of its Governance and Membership Committees. She founded the Mentorship program, which won the CFA Institute’s Award for Innovation. Most recently, she was an Adjunct Lecturer for the Master of Finance program at the Smith School of Business, Queen’s University.
A graduate of the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree, Deborah is a CFA charterholder and has experience as a registered Commodity Trading Manager (CTM).
An avid traveler, she is a member of the Travelers’ Century club and enjoys scuba diving with her family. When not in the office or travelling, Deborah enjoys fencing with either a “shinai” (Kendo) or an epee.
