The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to join our team and play a key role across the full investment lifecycle. This position offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of asset classes including private equity, private credit, real assets, hedge funds and public markets while contributing directly to investment decisions, portfolio construction, and strategic research. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership and external partners in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Primary Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and lead due diligence on investment opportunities across multiple asset classes
- Prepare investment memos and present findings to the Investment Governance Committee
- Participate in and occasionally lead Investment Governance Committee discussions
- Monitor existing investments, ensuring ongoing due diligence and KPI tracking
- Manage relationships with external fund managers and partners
- Attend and document meetings with third-party managers
- Contribute to investment strategy research across varying macroeconomic environments
- Support asset allocation and portfolio construction decisions
- Assist in managing the firm’s investment vehicles
- Enhance sourcing, diligence, and monitoring processes, including use of technology
- Analyze ad hoc investment opportunities for clients
- Support preparation of monthly and quarterly performance reports
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and automate processes
- Contribute to investment thought leadership (e.g., primers, white papers)
- Mentor junior team members and exemplify the firm’s culture
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 7-10 years’ experience leading fund investment analysis and due diligence
- Experience reviewing co-investment alternative asset deals is desired
- Significant exposure to private markets (private equity, private credit, real assets) strongly preferred
- Strong financial modeling, research, and analytical skills
- Experience preparing and presenting investment materials to senior stakeholders
- Familiarity with asset allocation and portfolio construction concepts
- Advising Representative registration and portfolio management experience is an asset
Compensation
- Base salary range $125,000 – $175,000 CAD per annum
