The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized self-starter Senior Operations Associate to join our team. This position requires proficiency in aggregating data, measuring investment performance, streamlining operational processes, processing and completing client trades, reviewing internal Know-Your-Client (KYC) documentation and familiarity with alternative investments and multi-family offices. As a Senior Associate you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our operations and reporting team. You will also be relied upon as a point of escalation and have some responsibility for team oversight.
Primary Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and improve performance reports and metrics based on aggregated financial data.
- The ability to build and break down analytics (MOIC, IRR, TWRR) and explain them to internal stakeholders is an added benefit.
- Prepare required documents for client trades, such as subscription agreements and redemption forms and process and monitor custodial account-openings and transactions.
- Regularly liaise with Consulting Team Members to coordinate client data, account set-up, onboarding and trade execution.
- Communicate and troubleshoot with Fund Managers on client transactions and KYC.
- Aggregate, reconcile, and verify financial data from various sources, including investment managers, custodians, brokers, and other relevant parties.
- Identify, develop and implement streamlined procedures and workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability, including centralizing performance reporting within the Operations department.
Key Attributes
- Proficiency with key operational and analytical tools, including Addepar, Salesforce, and Claude (or similar AI productivity platforms).
- Ability to quickly onboard to new technology and integrate tools into day-to-day workflows.
- Working knowledge of alternative investment structures — private equity, private credit, and venture capital — including fund lifecycle, capital calls, and LP/GP dynamics.
- Proven client service orientation – you get energy from helping people.
- High degree of accuracy, organization, timeliness, and strong detail orientation.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
- Able to work well within a team environment and in a collaborative manner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Can navigate complex issues and escalate as needed with a sense of urgency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in finance, economics, business administration, accounting or a related field.
- Desire to pursue advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSC, CFA) beneficial.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a financial services organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Commitment to complete the Exempt Market Proficiency Exam or the Canadian Securities Course within 6 months of joining the firm.
- Demonstrated interest in the investment advisory or wealth management industry.
- Strong Microsoft Office fluency (Excel, Word, Teams).
Compensation
- Base salary range 80,000 – 90,000 CAD per annum
